Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of European funds on the livestock sector in Romania. Thus, I analysed the specific literature and existing studies, designed a questionnaire, conducted interviews, obtained answers and analysed the rural area in Romania to demonstrate that the rural economy and the Romanian livestock area are important for socio-economic development. Agriculture and animals growth have always been pillars of the economy, providing jobs and contributing to food production and by collecting data on livestock during a given period and by analysing the responses received from farmers, I aim to better understand how the Romanian countryside has developed thanks to European money.
