In the future, it is expected that the role of computers in our life become essential. Any student will have to master this field to achieve easily what he wishes. In a new paradigm of learning, one strategy can start with a come-back to any selective tasks of learning proposed to be resolved some time ago and reconsidered by using the new platforms or dedicated software. The old stages of any geometry problem could be: "Draw, build, unite, and investigate properties, change shape and size. Properties remain the same. Why? Can you formulate the theorem from this investigation? A last, prove it rigorously!". The experience should not only be lived but shared. With any of these actions, any paradigm of teaching-learning can develop up to the new superior stage. To be useful in this technology of teaching-learning, any software must be dynamic in time and to accept his own development base in his daily using. GeoGebra it is an example of this kind of software-platform which connect people and their Edu-actions and the development of the new technologies of learning.
Valerian Antohe Copyright (c) 2023 Didactica Danubiensis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-10-31 2023-10-31 3 1 7 18 Pedagogical Erothetics or the Logic of Asking Questions in the Context of Digital Pedagogy https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/DD/article/view/2418
The paper addresses a topical issue regarding the intelligent use of pedagogical erothetics as an essential component in digital pedagogy that can significantly contribute to increasing the effectiveness of online learning and teaching. By formulating and using relevant and challenging questions, educators can improve student engagement and enhance the quality of the educational experience in the digital environment. Pedagogical erothetics, or the logic of asking questions in the context of digital pedagogy, are essential aspects of practical and interactive education in the digital age. In digital environments, where information can be accessed quickly and from diverse sources, the logic of questions becomes crucial to assess students' knowledge and skills correctly.
Doinița Popa Copyright (c) 2023 Didactica Danubiensis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-10-31 2023-10-31 3 1 19 29 Outcomes of Large Language Models and Artificial Intelligence in Education https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/DD/article/view/2473
The recent development in Artificial Intelligence, specifically with the advent of large language models like GPT-4, is transforming educational paradigms. This literature review investigates the implications of AI and large language models in education, outlining a vision for personalized, on-demand and interactive learning. This research examines how these technologies can function as virtual tutors, encourage real-time examination, support lifelong education, and function as teachers' resources by automating administrative tasks. The paper also addresses the ethical concerns of utilizing AI in educational frameworks and advocating for a complement rather than a replacement of teachers. Additionally, it investigates their ability to promote real-time assessment, enabling students to receive immediate feedback and adapt their learning strategies accordingly. Moreover, this review highlights the potential of AI and large language models to support improving knowledge, competencies and new skills development. By providing learners access to vast knowledge repositories, these technologies empower individuals to pursue continuous learning beyond traditional classroom settings. The Project Management Manual and Methodology, elaborated by Dick Michael and Loo Henry, in 2011, integrates the quality management stage during the implementation process, as a pivotal strategy preventing potential risks, inadequacies and facilitating change and performance optimization. According to Harvard experts, the Project Management Manual describes the optimization of the implementation parameters of the project (the quality management stage) as a subsequent phase that is inherent to planning and the operationalization of the project objectives (Harvard Business School, 1997). As mentioned in the quoted Harvard reference manual, the quality management stage implies a systematic and creative strategy for reorganizing resources and processes, therefore being defined as the essence of project management. The hybrid approach in designing and implementing educational projects integrates continuously quality parameters and evaluation criteria as a processual and structural framework, therefore pertaining to the pragmatic perspective of a continuously changing educational environment. Approach: The present study represents a theoretical approach to project management in education, analyzing the relationship between previous reference frameworks and the phenomenon of digitalization. Results: Digital educational projects imply strategic actions that open the organizational environment to dialogue, value transfer and interaction with external partners, identified within academic and socio-professional communities. Their long-term impact affects the quality of learning results, as well as the organizational culture and climate, constituting an unquantifiable variable of the organizational development process. Implications: The relevance of the analysis is demonstrated by the continuous change of perspective reflected by educational policies and reforms and it benefits from a comprehensive scientific literature that synthesizes multiple theoretical approaches to project management. Value: The present analytical study outlines the change of paradigm in education and the profound impact that the transition towards new learning approaches manifests in relation to the strategic management of schools.
Diana-Victoreta Croitoru Copyright (c) 2023 Didactica Danubiensis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-10-31 2023-10-31 3 1 53 58 Application of the Fibonacci Series in Natural Language Processing https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/DD/article/view/2405
The article investigates some possibilities of using the new Javascript programming language for generating parsing trees and histograms for natural language processing (NLP). This method develops the ability to acquire new knowledge in the process of their own educational and cognitive activity. The project method is a set of techniques, actions of students in a certain sequence, aimed at achieving a task or solving a certain problem that is significant for students and designed as a final product. The project method, being an effective pedagogical technology, corresponds to all general didactic principles. The introduction of such projects into the educational process develops students’ skills of independent work, their self-organization and responsibility, helps to organize teamwork, teaches social activity, and educates responsibility. This method places high demands not only on the student, but also on the teacher, requires their mutual activity, determination and goal-setting to achieve results. The project method is an objective indicator of the transition in the study of a foreign language from the threshold to the threshold advanced, and then the professional level, when it is possible to state the development of linguistic and sociolinguistic competence. The use of the project method is an indicator of the advanced stage of learning a foreign language at a university.
