The article discusses how our emotions and thoughts can affect our genes through a process called epigenetics, underscoring the influence of environmental factors, and challenging the idea that only genes cause diseases. It highlights how energy, vibrations, and brainwaves affect our physical health, showing that positive emotions can change gene function and aid healing. Tibetan singing bowls restore balance and improve health by influencing energy frequencies.

Claudia Denise Barbadillo Copyright (c) 2025 Claudia Denise Barbadillo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/NTP/article/view/3148 Fri, 28 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Demonstrate the Use of Guided Reflections in Addressing Workplace Anxiety, Cultural Conflict, and Career Dissatisfaction https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/NTP/article/view/3163
This case study exploits the application of guided reflections as a therapeutic intervention to address workplace anxiety cultural conflict and career dissatisfaction in a 32-year-old software engineer Adekunle. This study delves into the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral characteristics of sex offenders, aiming to provide a comprehensive psychological profile. Drawing from general and cognitive psychology, the research explores the interplay between environmental influences, personality traits, developmental factors, and psychopathological patterns that contribute to the perpetration of sexual violence. Key topics include the role of childhood trauma, attachment styles, cognitive distortions, impulsivity, and empathy deficits in shaping the psyche of sex offenders. Additionally, the study investigates typologies of offenders, distinguishing between opportunistic, compulsive, and predatory behaviors, while shedding light on the neurobiological and sociocultural factors that influence these variations. The findings also address the psychological consequences of offenses for both victims and offenders, emphasizing the need for trauma-informed interventions. By integrating theoretical frameworks with case studies and empirical evidence, this article contributes to the advancement of modern psychological methods in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sex offenders. It highlights the importance of early detection and intervention, not only to mitigate recidivism but also to promote effective criminal justice policies and support systems. This research will serve as a valuable resource for students, educators, psychologists, and professionals in related fields, fostering a deeper understanding of the psychological dimensions of criminal behavior in the context of sexual offenses.
Junaid Sattar BUTT, Dr. Dalia Kadry Ahmed Abdelaziz Copyright (c) 2025 Junaid Sattar BUTT, Dr. Dalia Kadry Ahmed Abdelaziz https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/NTP/article/view/3198 Fri, 28 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Effect of Poor Living Conditions of Orphan Children in Acquiring Education in Singida Municipality, Tanzania https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/NTP/article/view/3222
Education is a fundamental human right for all children, as recognized by the Committee on the Rights of the Child in 1989 in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The aim of this study is to examine the poor living conditions of orphan children in acquiring education in Singida Municipality. The target population for this study comprises orphaned children and their guardians residing in Singida Municipality. A non-probability sampling method was used to select a sample size of 190 orphaned children as respondents to the study. The primary data collection instrument utilized in this study was a questionnaire, chosen for its ease of administration and its ability to gather substantial information from a large number of respondents. The study adopts a quantitative approach and employs both descriptive and inferential statistics for data analysis using SPSS. The linear regression model was used to assess the effect of poor living conditions of orphan children on acquiring education in Singida Municipality. In cases where there are multiple independent variables, a multiple linear regression model is employed. To ensure the validity of the data and the appropriateness of the linear regression model, several tests were conducted. The study’s findings indicate that orphaned children in Singida Municipality face a number of difficulties in getting an education. The difficulties include shelter, food, clothing, and access to water. The findings could help inform policymakers and educators on strategies to improve educational opportunities and outcomes for orphaned children, ultimately promoting their well-being and future prospects. Therefore, the study recommends that the government must look for marginalized populations, such as orphans, who are falling behind in gaining possession of crucial social services. Also, the management of the school ought to be prepared to recognize the orphaned children that are falling behind in receiving a high-quality education. Also, as a way to create a local registry for this, the community must work together to recognize the orphaned children living in their midst, understand the difficulties they face, and have the ability to provide for them in a variety of ways.
James Daniel Chindengwike Copyright (c) 2025 James Daniel Chindengwike https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/NTP/article/view/3222 Fri, 28 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000 A Semantic Analysis on Some Selected Songs of Beautiful Nubia https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/NTP/article/view/3228
This study delves into the lyrical world of Beautiful Nubia, a renowned Nigerian musician, by conducting a semantic analysis of three of his songs: “Ikoko Akufo,” “Moworesire,” and “Seven Lives” through a qualitative approach, this research uncovers the underlying meanings, themes, and messages embedded in the songs. The research focuses on assessing factors influencing children’s awareness of online dangers and examining how demographic factors impact the perceived need for online safety education. While prior studies emphasise, the tangible risks posed by online interactions and the role of digital literacy, limited research has addressed these challenges within Zimbabwe’s context. This study builds on existing research to bridge the gap by providing localized insights. Data was collected through structured questionnaires administered to 2,617 children aged 8 to 18 across Zimbabwe’s ten provinces. Analytical methods included chi-square tests, logit regression and analysis of variance. Key findings indicate that older children and frequent Internet users are more aware of online risks. They also highlighted that meeting online friends in person significantly increases their exposure to harm. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, educators, and parents to craft effective interventions, including targeted safety education and enhanced regulatory frameworks for safer online environments. This study contributes to understanding online risk awareness and safety needs among Zimbabwean children.
Maxwell Sandada, Gift Kalisto Machengete, Cryford Mhaka, Felicity Kaseke Copyright (c) 2024 Maxwell Sandada, Gift Kalisto Machengete, Cryford Mhaka, Felicity Kaseke https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://dj.univ-danubius.ro/index.php/NTP/article/view/3133 Fri, 28 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000
