The Perspective on Work in The Case of Special Education Teachers
Abstract
Special education presents unique challenges that can influence employees’ perspectives on their work. This research analyzed the attitudes of teaching staff in special education, with 66 participants completing questionnaires, including the Perceived Organizational Support Scale (POS) and the Job Satisfaction Survey. The results indicated that educators working with children with intellectual and physical disabilities who report high levels of perceived organizational support and job satisfaction also demonstrate strong commitment to their organization. Thus, teachers in special education generally maintain a positive outlook on their work.
